Adelaide Beauty Conference (henceforth known as ABC) reserves the right to prohibit entry of any person to ABC, or eject any person from ABC based on behaviour deemed inappropriate by ABC staff and/or its agents and other working under its authority.

Cancellation Policy

Registrations must be received by the registration closing date; successful applicants will be notified within 7 working business days of the registration closing date. Cancellations must be received in writing (via email) at least 7 business days before the conference commences. Exceptions may apply on medical/compassionate grounds.

Image Release

In registering for ABC, participants grant permission to ABC, its agents and others working under its authority, to take and to have full and free use of video/photographs containing their image/likeness for its use, subject to participants approval. Prior to publication, participants will be afforded the opportunity to review and approve conference video/photographs for public release. Participant approval is final and change of mind will not be entertained once publication has taken place. It is understood that these images may be used for promotional, news, online/multimedia, research and/or educational purposes by and for ABC. Participants agree that they are not entitled to remuneration, residuals, royalties or any other payment from ABC with respect of their image/likeness or its use. Participants release, discharge, and hold harmless ABC and its agents from any and all claims, demands or causes of actions that they may hereafter have by reason of anything contained in the photographs or video. Should a participant not agree to the above image release, they must advise ABC by contacting Celeste at becomingbeautiful.com@gmail.com.

Privacy policy

ABC is concerned with the protection of your privacy and are committed to protecting the integrity of the personal information we collect from you. The Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth) and the Privacy Principles sets out how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage personal information about you. ABC collects your personal information and all participants’ contact details will be kept on the ABC database, which will only be used by ABC and its agents, including event sponsors. Unless the registration office has received an explicit request from participant not to share his/her contact information in writing, a database of all participants’ preferred names, their blog URLs and email addresses will be included in the conference packs. A database of all participants’ preferred names and their blog URLs will be made available on the ABC website.
ABC will also use your email addresses to circulate information and announcements with regard to the conference. If you would like your personal information record to be deleted after the conference, please notify ABC by email at info@adelaidebeautyconfference.com.

Programme

ABC reserves the right to change the program at any time. Every effort will be made to ensure a program of equivalent standard.

Special Dietary/Physical Requirements

Will not be catered for unless requested before the event registration closing date. Please email becomingbeautiful.com@gmail.com with your requirements.

Personal Property & Insurance

ABC accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to personal property that is brought to ABC 2012. Participants will be responsible for any losses, damages, or injuries incurred as a result of contracts entered into with ABC, advice sought or obtained from ABC and/or any sponsor or any losses or damages to Property whilst at the venue, unless caused by the negligence of ABC. ABC registration does not include insurance of any kind.
